Tat Tvam Asi – You are that
Shree Om was born and brought up in Amritsar, Punjab, India and was named ‘Vineeta Vaid’ by her parents.
As a child, she was at times lost in her own world, which she later realised was quite meditative in experience and too jovial and outgoing at other times, showering puppy love on everyone she connected with.
Far from any religious inclinations, she was inclined towards different art forms (dance, music and drawing) as a child, but life (read parents) made her pursue studies passionately in later years and as a result, She shined among toppers in her higher education.
She did her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Computer Applications and worked in an MNC for close to 6 years as a Software Developer.
2016 – 2017 was a very challenging period for her. She went through all signs of an existential crisis, anxiety, depression and even suicidal thoughts which were credited to childhood trauma.
In 2018, She left her corporate job and started a journey of self-discovery and inner peace.
After exploring multiple things to satisfy her restless soul, she found herself shouting ‘Shiva’ at the top of her voice, dancing and crying in a spiritual programme. Not being able to make logical sense of the incident, a new journey to know and discover started, ‘Who said Shiva with such fervour?’
She stayed in an ashram for around 15 months and then spent 2 years in a room transformed into a personal cave with her family in Amritsar in her devotional persuit towards Lord Shiva with the bhava of being a lover.
Eventually, the madness of devotion led to realisation of the self in 2021.
Her journey took her to Vrindavan, where she spent nearly 8 months reconnecting with Narayana Bhakti amongst other things.
Under divine guidance, She shifted to Pune from Vrindavan in 2023 and currently resides there.
With Lord Krishna’s grace, She was initiated under Gurudeva Om Swami in February 2024, whom she found out to be her past life Guru. She is currently a Grihastha Sadhika under his tutelage.
Her spiritual realization led her to guide others towards a path of inner fulfilment and hence, this platform came about to connect with seekers.
She hopes to be an effective instrument of Lord Narayana and her Gurudeva towards the resurrection of certain aspects of Sanatana Dharma, primarily being the true spirit of surrender and devotion, as that had been her primary way towards the Divine.
